The fruit for the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from two of our mountain vineyards, where at elevations of over 1,000 feet, the vines are grown in rocky, low-vigor soil, producing intensely flavored small berries. The result is a wine that is elegant but rich, with impressive depth displaying classic flavors of black currant, cherry and anise with warm toasty notes from French oak barrel aging. Alcohol 14.5% by volume.
